San Nicolas (Ilocano: Ili ti San Nicolas), officially the Municipality of San Nicolas, is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Ilocos Norte, Philippines. In San Nicolas, Pottery-making is the main trademark of the municipality. It was introduced by the Spaniards mainly in Barangay 8, and they called it Alfareria, meaning “Art of Pottery”. Other traditional crafts include the making of Tagapulot, Lapida, Chicharon and Longganisa. The town also has large ricefields., San Nicolas also has a number of car stores and shops. Robinsons Place Ilocos, the biggest mall in the province is located in the town center.

San Nicolas has 24 barangay with the Name Of, Barangay: San Agustin, San Balthazar, San Bartolome, San Cayetano, San Eugenio, San Fernando, San Francisco, San Gregorio, San Guillermo, San Ildefonso, San Jose, San Juan Bautista, San Lucas, San Marcos, San Miguel, San Pablo, San Paulo, San Pedro, San Lorenzo, Santa Monica, Santa Cecilia, Santa Asuncion,
San Silvestre and Barangay San Rufino.
