The Department of Labor and Employment – Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (DOLE-RTWPB-10) has officially enacted Wage Order No. RX-24, which mandates a significant daily wage increase of ₱39 for private sector workers within Northern Mindanao (Region 10). This wage adjustment will take effect on January 16, 2026, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving the living standards of workers in the region.
The increase will be implemented in two distinct phases to ensure a smooth transition for employers and employees alike. The first tranche will provide an additional ₱25 to the daily wage starting January 16, 2026, followed by a second tranche of ₱14 on May 1, 2026. This structured approach not only aims to enhance the purchasing power of workers but also underscores the importance of fair compensation in fostering economic stability and growth in Northern Mindanao.
