Villanueva is a 2nd class municipality in the 2nd district of Misamis Oriental province, in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It consists of 11 barangay with the following names: Balacanas, Dayawan, Katipunan, Kimaya, Poblacion 1, Poblacion 2, Poblacion 3, San Martin, Tambobong, Imelda and Barangay Looc.
