Batanes is an archipelagic province located in the Cagayan Valley region of the Philippines. The capital is Basco, situated on the island of Batan. The province consists of 6 municipalities with the following names: Basco, Itbayat, Ivana, Mahatao, Sabtang, and Uyugan, along with its 29 barangays, which are as follows: Chanarian, Chavayan, Hanib, Ihubok I (Kaychanarianan), Ihubok II (Kayvalugan), Imnajbu, Itbud, Kaumbakan, Kayhuvokan, Kayuganan, Kayvalugan, Malakdang, Nakanmuan, Panatayan, Radiwan, Raele, Salagao, San Antonio, San Joaquin, San Rafael (Idiang), San Vicente (Igang), Santa Lucia (Kauhauhasan), Santa Maria (Marapuy), Santa Rosa (Kaynatuan), Savidug, Sinakan, Sumnanga, Tuhel, and Barangay Uvoy.
