ABAMIN Partylist: Making Sure Mindanao’s Voice is Heard in Congress

ABAMIN must make sure that the voice of the people of Mindanao is heard in Congress for social justice and further development. ABAMIN (Abante Mindanao) Party-list first won in the May 2010 elections, with Congressman Maximo B. Rodriguez, Jr. serving as the representative. The party aims to represent a diverse group of sectors including the Urban Poor, Indigenous Peoples (IPs), fishermen, Senior Citizens, farmers, Out-of-School Youth, members of the physically challenged community, professionals, and women.

Under the leadership of former Cong. Maxie Rodriguez, ABAMIN focuses on important programs such as good health, youth education, additional livelihood, and more, to support and promote marginalized and underrepresented sectors, such as IPs, laborers, senior citizens, urban poor, informal settlers, OFWs, farmers, fishermen, and others.
