Region 10 Daily Wages: Trends, Rates, and Worker Impact

The Department of Labor and Employment – Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Board (DOLE-RTWPB-10) has officially enacted Wage Order No. RX-24, which mandates a significant daily wage increase of ₱39 for private sector workers within Northern Mindanao (Region 10). This wage adjustment will take effect on January 16, 2026, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving the living standards of workers in the region.
The increase will be implemented in two distinct phases to ensure a smooth transition for employers and employees alike. The first tranche will provide an additional ₱25 to the daily wage starting January 16, 2026, followed by a second tranche of ₱14 on May 1, 2026. This structured approach not only aims to enhance the purchasing power of workers but also underscores the importance of fair compensation in fostering economic stability and growth in Northern Mindanao.

Northern Mindanao Top Performing Congressmen

The RP-Mission and Development Foundation Inc. (RPMD) passionately carried out a nationwide survey called “Boses ng Bayan” to assess the performance of House Representatives in the Philippines during the first quarter of 2024. The survey meticulously evaluated the representatives’ effectiveness in district representation, legislative work, and constituent services, engaging 10,000 adult participants. The aim was to fervently capture the sentiments from every region through a rigorous random selection process. The results passionately mirror the population’s feelings, fostering transparency and constructive dialogue between elected representatives and constituents to drive impactful change and enhance public service and community development initiatives.
