The municipality of Libertad is a 5th-class municipality in the 2nd district of Misamis Oriental province, in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It consists of 9 barangay with the following names: Dulong, Gimaylan, Kimalok, Lubluban, Poblacion, Retablo, Santo Niño, Tangkub, and Taytayan.
