Lala, officially the Municipality of Lala, is a first-class municipality in the 2nd district of Lanao del Norte province, Northern Mindanao, Mindanao, Philippines. The municipality of Lala consists of 27 barangays with the names, Barangay: Abaga, Andil, Cabasagan, Camalan, Darumawang Bucana,
Darumawang Ilaya, El Salvador, Gumagamot, Lala Proper, Lanipao, Magpatao, Maranding, Matampay Bucana, Matampay Ilaya, Pacita, Pendolonan, Pinoyak, Raw-an, Rebe, San Isidro Lower, San Isidro Upper, San Manuel, Santa Cruz Lower, Santa Cruz Upper, Simpak, Tenazas, and Barangay Tuna-an.

Alimango Festival

The Alimango Festival in Lala, Lanao del Norte, is celebrated annually on the 22nd day of March, along with the founding anniversary of the town. It is a vibrant celebration that showcases the municipality’s rich cultural heritage and its bountiful aquatic resources. The festival features colorful street dances, music performances, and a grand parade of giant crab-inspired floats. It also highlights various crab dishes and culinary delights, as well as local handicrafts and products.
