Mindanao Tourism Expo

Experience the Mindanao Tourism Expo (MTEx) 2024 from April 26-28 at The Atrium, Limketkai Center, Cagayan de Oro City. The event will embrace the theme ‘Limitless Adventures in Mindanao’ and showcase the finest tour destinations of the region. All 16 regional offices of the Department of Tourism (DOT) and the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), along with hundreds of tour operators and private tourism stakeholders, will participate in the event. The expo will feature business-to-business interactions, product presentations, post-tour travel exchanges, and cultural showcases. The general public is welcome to visit the booths and have the chance to win raffle prizes, including free tour packages.

Limketkai Center

Limketkai Center is a prominent shopping center in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines, known locally as Ketkai. It is owned and developed by Limketkai Sons, Inc., the largest developer in the city. Situated in the central business district, the expansive two-story mall accommodates over 500 tenants, offering a variety of stores, boutique shops, fast-food chains, and restaurants. The center also features amenities like movie theaters, food courts, entertainment venues, day-care centers, spas, and clinics. Notably, it is home to the first McDonald’s and Jollibee stores in Visayas and Mindanao, as well as the inaugural Marks & Spencer outlet in Mindanao. Additionally, the first Robinsons Mall in Mindanao, Robinsons Cagayan De Oro, is located within the complex.
