This wage adjustment will take effect on January 16, 2026, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving the living standards of workers in the region.
The increase will be implemented in two distinct phases to ensure a smooth transition for employers and employees alike. The first tranche will provide an additional ₱25 to the daily wage starting January 16, 2026, followed by a second tranche of ₱14 on May 1, 2026.
