Balingasag to Build New PBA Standard Gymnasium

Quina emphasized that the construction of the Balingasag Gymnasium will soon commence, following the formal donation of a 1.5-hectare lot by the Borromeo family, led by Vice Mayor Felix H. Borromeo and his siblings, located in Barangay Talusan, at the boundary of Tulay Grande and Barangay Linggangao in this town. The town of Balingasag soon will have a PBA Standard Gymnasium, providing an appropriate and orderly space for use during major events. Under the leadership of Mayor Quina, the proposed Balingasag Gymnasium is intended for the town and its people.

ABAMIN Partylist: Approved for 2025 PH Elections, Making Sure Mindanao’s Voice is Heard in Congress

The petition of the Abante Mindanao (ABAMIN) Partylist to return and re-elect as a partylist in the upcoming 2025 elections has been approved by the COMELEC. ABAMIN must make sure that the voice of the people of Mindanao is heard in Congress for social justice and further development.

ABAMIN (Abante Mindanao) Party-list first won in the May 2010 elections, with Congressman Maximo B. Rodriguez, Jr. serving as the representative. The party aims to represent a diverse group of sectors including the Urban Poor, Indigenous Peoples (IPs), fishermen, Senior Citizens, farmers, Out-of-School Youth, members of the physically challenged community, professionals, and women. Under the leadership of former Cong. Maxie Rodriguez, ABAMIN focuses on important programs such as good health, youth education, additional livelihood, and more, to support and promote marginalized and underrepresented sectors in Northern Mindanao such as IPs, laborers, senior citizens, urban poor, informal settlers, OFWs, farmers, fishermen, and others.

Binondo-Intramuros Bridge: China-Funded Landmark Project

A new attraction in the City of Manila for residents, bikers, and park-goers, as the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) opens the new linear park and pedestrian stairs of the iconic Binondo-Intramuros Bridge, which is part of the ₱3.6 billion infrastructure grant by China under the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation in 2017, is the first UPMO-implemented infrastructure project in partnership with the Government of the Republic of China. This is a vital infrastructure project in the Philippines. It will connect the districts of Binondo in Manila and Intramuros in the City of Manila, providing a much-needed linkage between these two historically and economically significant areas. The construction of this bridge aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the area and improve overall accessibility for commuters and motorists. Once completed, the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge is expected to enhance transportation efficiency and contribute to the continued development of these iconic districts in Manila.
