Ifugao Province, located in Cordillera Administrative Region at the northern part of the Philippines, is famous for its stunning rice terraces, which have been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1995. The Banaue Rice Terraces, often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World,” are a top tourist spot and a must-see landmark in the province. Travelers also visit the town of Batad to witness the amphitheater-like terraces and experience the rich local culture. Another popular destination is the Tappiya Falls, offering a refreshing and picturesque natural attraction for visitors. Additionally, the Ifugao Museum provides insight into the indigenous heritage of the region, showcasing traditional artifacts and historical exhibits. The province is composed of 176 barangays and 11 municipalities with the following names: Aguinaldo, Alfonso Lista, Asipulo, Banaue, Hingyon, Hungduan, Kiangan, Lagawe, Lamut, Mayoyao, and the municipality of Tinoc.
