The municipality is composed of 16 barangays with the following names: Balintad, Buenavista, Danatag, Kalilangan, Lacolac, Langaon, Liboran, Lingating, Mabuhay, Mabunga, Nicdao, Imbatug, Pualas, Salimbalan, San Vicente, and Barangay San Miguel.
