Ramadan: A Month of Self discipline and Spiritual renewal in Islam

Ramadan is considered the holiest month in Islam, A ninth month of the Islamic calendar. It is observed by Muslims worldwide as a time of fasting, prayer, reflection, and community, Ramadan commemorates the month when the Qur’an was first revealed to the Prophet Muhammad. It is a time for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and increased devotion. Muslims fast daily from dawn until sunset {Fasting is one of the Five Pillars of Islam} and during the fasting hours, they abstain from: Food, Drink, Smoking, Marital relations.
