Gitagum is a 5th-class municipality in the 2nd district of Misamis Oriental province, in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It consists of 11 barangay with the following names: Burnay, Carlos P. Garcia, Cogon, Gregorio Pelaez (Lagutay), Kilangit, Matangad, Pangayawan, Poblacion, Quezon, Tala-o, and Ulab.
