Balingoan is a 5th-class municipality in the 1st district of Misamis Oriental province, in Northern Mindanao, Philippines. It consists of 9 barangay with the following names: Baukbauk (Poblacion), Dahilig, Kebangsaan, Kabulakan, Kauswagan, Lapinig (Poblacion), Mantangale, Mapua and Barangay San Alonzo.
